Verizon Prepaid service has lots of valuable benefits but Verizon did not have a marketing page introducing the brand and its service in one place. Verizon wanted to deliver the true value customers are getting with a premium carrier, to push new and existing customers across the Verizon ecosystem long term.

The team was asked to create a landing page for Verizon Prepaid that reinforces the superior value of Verizon.

 

Goal

  1. Create a new Verizon Prepaid landing page to achieve.

  2. Update navigations due to a new page creation.

  3. Modify the existing Verizon Prepaid pages to include entry points.

 

My role

  • Conducted competitive audits.

  • Updated navigation and Verizon Prepaid menu architecture, including the addition of Why Verizon Prepaid page.

  • Collaborated with copywriters to create cohesive storylines throughout the page.

  • Created wireframes for Why Verizon Prepaid page and other pages adding entry points to the page.

  • Supported the team in creating visual designs and client-facing presentation decks, ensuring thorough checks on business requirements and details.

  • Conducted annotations for the final deliverables.

 

Solutions

Verizon Prepaid = Freedom without compromise

When people think of prepaid, they are probably already worried about what kind of service they are getting such as less coverage, more dropouts, or additional charges. At Verizon, their prepaid service gives them total freedom of contract but still good service to call, text, stream, game whatever the customer wants. The strong value to customers is the flexibility of prepaid but with the reliability of the Verizon network. That’s freedom without compromise. 

The team created a new page showing how Prepaid is giving customers the freedom to live their lives to the fullest without compromising on a lesser service. We focused on elevating Verizon’s “most reliable network’” positioning and adapting the existing manifesto “Freedom without compromise” for a landing page to demonstrate the prepaid product’s true value in customers’ lives.

Conveying true customer value

I tried to deliver tangible customer benefits of “Freedom without compromise” that reinforce Verizon Prepaid’s positioning in the market. It needed to structure primary vs. secondary selling points to convey them into a wireframe.
