‘1984’

BOOK COVER re-DESIGN

This was a school project of editorial design. The main character's habit of writing diary entries is reflected in this work by the use of white chalk on black brick. The glare of light represents Big Brother's surveillance on the main character. The number is partially erased, suggesting the character's failure to rebound after he is tortured by Big brother and brainwashed by his ideology.
